Oakley Star Sam Stosur Wins US Open Tennis Title
By Chris (OmniOptics) - September 12, 2011
Oakley's star tennis player Sam Stosur dominated Serena Williams on the American's home turf to win the US Open at Flushing Meadows in Queens, New York on Sunday. Australian, Sam Stosur beat Serena Williams in just two sets – 6-2, 6-3 to win her first-ever Grand Slam tournament (the final one of the year). Here's hoping this is the first of many, for Australia's new favourite sporting hero.

Sam Stosur is one of the few tennis players on the tour who can often be seen wearing sunglasses on court, her sunnies of choice tend to be the sporty Enduring Edge model as seen in these images. Sam will often change the colour of the model she wears to suit her mood, style or the tournament she is playing in.

Oakley Enduring Edge shield-style sunglasses are great for sports as the single lens can be changed to suit the lighting conditions or the type of sport being played. The fit is designed specifically for women and includes two sizes of nosepieces that can be easily changed. The Three-Point Fit holds the frames firmly in place making them perfect for the fast pace and quick direction changes required on the tennis court.
